Bluebox Source’s second game is an arcade endless runner that feels like asteroids in 3D. Play today for free and unlock new ships with missiles and shields. You can also compete on the leaderboards (which span iOS and Android) and see if you can beat our high scores!
After the release of Mutant Mashup, we spent some time evaluating game engines. We wanted to focus more on game design and less on coding some of the basics we had to worry about in our first release. We built Star Drive with Unity, and is something of a learning project for us both. It has been an adjustment, but we were able to create much more with less effort than using MonoGame and Xamarin alone.
We took some time between games to recharge and work on other endeavors. But 2019 has a lot in store for us. We’ve already started in on our next game, which will be a word puzzle game – with an action twist!
